Ditto to the ditto. Networking does take tikme and it is something that we do every time we meet or connect. Finding ways to interconnect various "worlds" we all live in is a great idea. My friend and I started a monthly lunch group, The TM Network, several years ago - we wanted to keep up, but with families, careers, etc, no time was to be had. We decided we would get together for lunch once a month and bring someone with us. That way, we could catch up, but also meet new people. Goal was to bring people outside of our profession and expand the network. Then, around holidays, we invited everyone to a bar for drinks. It was a great way to network in limited time. Keith has hit on another great way to incorporate networking into our busy lives. Great advice!

Best regards,

Dan

I ditto Keith, the clock isn't getting any bigger. For me, family is a non-negoiatable. Figuring out on how to squeeze more time by over lapping activities is key. In his example, pulling those people in your most treasured "time zones" of your life will undoubtedly build even stronger relationships.

Congratulations! One more value added message!
You will have the time you want - it's a matter of chosing what really makes a difference in your life. When you put your time on networking you improve your life and the life of people you really care - and all of that can be fun!
I tried this weekend some radical activities in West of Portugal with someone new on my network. These activities were phishing on open sea and riding a horse - this was an weekend to remember!

I believe that we are always networking every time we meet or connect with someone. Some of us may not do as well at it as others, but I think that if you become conscious of this idea, you can greatly improve on it. How we interact with those we connect with, what we discuss, we are then building on, or developing a relationship; relationships are really networking. So if we work on being the best we can be at this and building the best relationships, we can do a great job of time management as well. Is this not networking in the true sense? What do you think?
Stay safe and well,
Maxine
